Willits Chamber of Commerce, welcomes you to Willits, California! "Gateway to the Redwoods Heart of Mendocino County". Willits is a small rural community located on U.S. Highway 101 approximately 140 miles north of San Francisco. A town rich in history with beautiful scenery, from rolling hills to picturesque ranches dotting the landscape. Named after Hiram Willits, it was settled by pioneering ranchers in the 1850's.

The Willits Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the 6th Annual Hometown Celebration on Thursday, June 27, 2013, from 5pm to 9pm. Our theme “Celebrate Our Independents” focuses on independent businesses as part of the Chamber’s ongoing Shop Local campaign.
Local businesses will stay open until 9:00 PM. Event activities include: live music, vendor booths, games, food, a prize wheel, and more.
