Chamber volunteers, together with the Chamber Board and staff, organize and implement a variety of workshops, programs and events that support and benefit the local economy and community. All Chamber members are invited to join any of the following committees.
Ambassador Committee
Chamber ambassadors are responsible for membership outreach and retention. Ambassadors visit members and potential members, organize mixers, ribbon cuttings and open houses. This committee meets monthly.
Events Committee
Responsible for planning community outreach events including workshops, seminars, the Chamber’s annual fund-raising event and Hometown Celebrations. This committee meets as needed.
Local First Committee
The Local First group works to promote our local economy through community outreach and education. Originally responsible for the Hometown Celebration events, the committee is now shifting toward community education about the benefits of supporting local businesses. Meets as needed.
Marketing Committee
By handling press releases, the Chamber website and other promotional materials, this committee works to shape the Chamber’s public relations and visitor outreach. Meets monthly.
